Wait to add more lives until later in the game as upgrading the other features first will allow you to not lose lives. Early in the game it is best to upgrade your shot frequency first, then shot damage. You can upgrade your remaining lives more times than the other features, but the cost grows geometrically, with the sixth update costing 3,125.Shot damage and fire rate can be upgraded 5 times each. The upgrade cost schedule is 1, 5, 25, 125, and 625.At the end of each level you can upgrade your shot damage, fire rate, and remaining lives. As you progress through the game you face slimes appearing more quickly AND you get a mix of higher power slimes. The first level only has green slimes.Purple – larger than normal slimes & more powerful, but can be defeated with a single shot when your shot power is fully upgraded.Red – similar to the green or blue slime, but moves faster. After you defeat the yellow slime it turns into 3 smaller yellow slimes you also need to defeat. Blue – similar to the green slime but slightly more powerful (takes 2 shots until you power up). This game features a variety of slime types. When you run out of lives it is game over. You can purchase additional lives in the upgrades store. If a slime reaches you then you lose one of your lives.Clear each stage of all slimes to move onto the next.
